After multiple bailouts of the auto, banking, insurance, and mortgage industries, the Stimulus Package, and now the assimilation of health care, we are in so much debt, I don’t think we will ever be in the black again. This $938 billion debacle signed by the socialist now occupying the White House may push us off the cliff we have been teetering on.
A trillion here, a trillion there, pretty soon we are talking about real money. We have to stop bleeding money. We need to elect candidates that will enact a law requiring a balanced budget. In an era of limited and diminishing resources, the Federal government needs to be put on a diet. There are priorities that each of us need. The founding fathers did a pretty good job enumerating them in the Constitution. The past Republican administration overspent and that makes me mad. This socialist administration is spending like they own the printing press. They don’t, we do, and until they feel the flex of the American electorate, they will continue to bleed us for every cent they can get.
I truly hope the fervor over this latest spending spree holds over till November. These elected officials are spending our money like drunken sailors and Obama is paying off congressmen like Stupak with our tax money. Did you see that Stupak’s district got almost $1 million in airport grants two days before the vote? Maybe the useless executive order on abortion was not the determining factor in his yes vote. I think it would be good to see what these “servants of the people” have gotten us into.
I am a George W. Bush fan, but he was no fiscal conservative. When he entered office in 2001, the Federal deficit was $5.7 trillion. When he left office in 2010, that number had grown to $10.7 trillion. That is an 88% increase in our debt in eight years. I guess the only thing that kind of lessens the impact of the increase is the use of the majority of the money for post-9/11 security measures. Of course, there were those two wars where we are still spending incredible amounts of money.
Since our current socialist president has taken office, he has put the checkbook to extreme use. We may have an ink shortage soon. Our estimated deficit at the end of this year is $14.5 trillion. How about that, 26% in two years! That’s not the bad news. In 2012, when our socialist president will be thrown out of office, he will leave us with a total debt of $17.4 trillion. That is a 63% increase in debt in only 4 years.

I would now like to thank each of those uninformed 65 million people that voted for “change” for the personal debt of $58.000 for each man, woman, and child in this Country, most of which is owed to the Chinese. This spending has to stop. Support and vote for candidates that will hold the line on spending and this redistribution of wealth.

I believe in the free market system. I am a capitalist that believes if you can’t compete, you should be allowed to fail. With our current socialist president, we now own all kinds of businesses we shouldn’t. We have propped up businesses that should have gone bankrupt. There is a price to pay for bad business decisions like exorbitant salaries, inadequate loan application evaluation, or inferior product design.
You and I could not do anything about the recent rash of government bailouts, except remind those representatives who voted for them that they will be out of work come election day. There is a group that we, as capitalists, can affect through our spending habits. Entertainers! I don’t sign up for boycotts, I don’t carry the flag around. I simply refuse to give money to people that, in my opinion, are un-American, extreme liberals, or just plain jerks. Why should I spend money for people I consider to be idiots to perpetuate their lifestyles?
I get teased at work once in a while because of my refusal to patronize certain stores, or watch certain movies because of who is in it or who is producing it, etc. I often say the list is long but distinguished. People like Sean Penn, Alec Baldwin, George Soros, Michael Moore, Keith Olberman, Morgan Freeman, and Tim Robbins turn my stomach. Why would anyone think it was funny that I refuse to give them my money to continue bad mouthing the Country that made them rich. I usually don’t join Facebook groups, but I did join this one: Americans Against Anti-American Actors and Artists.
I am always disappointed by the paparazzi society we live in. The hero worship of superficial puddle deep celebrities keep us from actually paying attention to important issues like where the Country is going, or what the government is actually doing. The total lack of attention that a large part of our fellow citizens pay to important issues infuriates me. The lack of attention has real consequences, it could result in a radical extremist occupying the White House. Oops, too late!

Did you ever read “Animal Farm” by George Orwell? It seems the current socialist administration is well versed in the tactics of attacking critics of the government. In the book, one of the pigs, Squealer, was tasked with spreading propaganda and rhetoric to consolidate the power of the government and squelch dissenters. Our newest Squealer is Mr. John Brennan, Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism. Mr. Brennan says that critics of the Obama administration’s handling of terrorist incidents serve the goals of al-Qaeda.
Okay, I guess anyone that has a problem with Janet Napolitano’s assessment that the system worked concerning the attempted terrorist attack on Christmas Day is working for al-Qaeda. How many times must we be insulted by this administration? I have already been labeled and then I self-reported as a right-wing extremist, had my neighbors asked to report on me as someone that is talking negatively about healthcare, (which I also self-reported) and now I am being accused of helping al-Qaeda.
I would encourage you to read Mr. Brennan’s comments. There are many examples of typical liberal elitism condescension. Doesn’t everyone know that this administration knows what is best for us and we should follow direction like good little subjects? He suggests that critics of the administration are hypocrites and clueless. He also says that no one needs to lecture the administration about the fact that this nation is at war.
This administration never ceases to amaze me in their arrogance. They believe that only they know what is good for us. I know that I have zero confidence in this administration’s ability to protect the citizens against attack. They said last week that we would be attacked in the next three to six months. That seems like they have just accepted the fact that the terrorists will be successful. I think it would be a good thing to try and stop that attack. Let’s try to use intelligence resources and the vast Federal law enforcement community to protect us, rather than say…concentrate on reading Miranda Rights to terrorists after a failed attack.
If we survive the next three years, and if the administration allows a vote for President in 2012, I pray that the people of this Country remember that we are not socialists, we do not believe the government can solve all our problems, we are a Country built on principles of freedom and individual rights. Come on 2012.

I thought it was appropriate that on the one year anniversary of our national catastrophe, we pause to reflect on the direction of this Country. I started to write this blog just 4 months after the inauguration of our socialist President. It didn’t take a clairvoyant to see that the liberal policies of this administration would drive us to the brink of bankruptcy, socialism, and a total break-away from the principles that made this Country great.
As we as a Country were looking into the abyss, one small beacon of light appeared in the Northeast. It wasn’t Scott Brown, he just happened to be the name on the ballot. The true patriots were the people of Massachusetts. Descendents of the people that suffered through the Boston Massacre and stormed British ships to have a giant Tea Party and said NO to taxation without representation, overlooked partisan politics and sent a message to the liberal elites in Washington that even though Democrats outnumber Republicans in the State by a 3 to 1 margin, a Republican was elected as a Senator.
This is an important day. We should look back and resolve that we will not let the media force feed us a candidate by censoring information for their own liberal agendas. It makes me feel all warm inside that we can count on the American people to see through the spin, half-truths, and outlandish campaign rhetoric. The people of Massachusetts reminded the elected officials that they work for us. This should make Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and the rest of the Democrat party shake in their boots.
I never thought I would ever have these words come out of the end of my fingers…thanks to the people of Massachusetts for slowing down the march toward socialism. Thanks for standing up and saying no to big government, high taxes, and government takeovers. God Bless You.

In this current era of a grumpy electorate, of which I am a proud member, it is the little hints of elitism that go mostly unnoticed that burn me up. The most recent example from the Democrat Party is the sense of entitlement to a Senate seat in Massachusetts. I have seen many articles this week denouncing the fact that, God forbid, a Republican may win Ted Kennedy’s Seat! You remember Teddy, right? If you are to believe the Democrats and the disbelieving media, that “pillar of virtue’s” seat has no business being occupied by a Republican.
Here are a few statistics for your information. I know you will never hear them from the media, because remember, that seat belongs to the Kennedys. The State of Massachusetts has had 46 Senators in their history. Guess which party has had the most? Republicans at 16. There have been 15 Federalists, 9 Whigs, and bringing up the rear, Democrats with 6. I know what you are saying…Teddy was there for more than 40 years, that has to be worth something. Not to confuse my liberal friends with facts, let’s look at years in office. If you add up all the years of both seats in the Senate, there have been 377 years of service from Senators in MA. Guess who has the most, yep, Republicans, 192 years, or 51% of the time. Next in line are those Democrats with 32%. Federalists had 10% and Whigs had 8%. It doesn’t really seem like Teddy’s or even a Democrat’s seat to me.
The Republican that dares to infiltrate the sacred seat is Scott Brown. As far as the Democrats and an incredulous group of liberal media are concerned, no Republican is worthy of being a Senator from MA. It mystifies them that Lt. Colonel and State Senator Brown is actually ahead by 3 points in the most recent polls.
To his credit, Mr. Brown reminded the members of the media and the Democrat party that the vacant Senate seat actually belongs to the people of MA, not the Kennedy mob. The liberal media doesn’t seem to understand that the American people are upset. Even the traditionally liberal voters of MA can see that the socialist policies of this current administration will lead us to destruction, or at least bankruptcy.
If Mr. Brown does win Tuesday, there may be a chance to stop the government takeover of the healthcare system. If you live in MA, make sure you vote Tuesday. If you can support the campaign with a donation, I urge you to help. Here’s a link to Mr. Brown’s web site: http://www.brownforussenate.com
Lets show the media, liberal Congress members, and our socialist President what is in store for them come November.

I was watching today’s General Hospital that my wife tapes to watch every evening, and much to her chagrin, President Obama preempted the program to announce that someone attempted to blow up a plane bound for America! The shocking development of a radical Muslim attempting to kill hundreds of Americans is so important, that the President decided to hold a press briefing to deliver critical information to the American people.
There must have been a typo in the graphics that were on the screen. They said that the “incident” (read that as terrorist attack) occurred on Christmas Day, December 25, last week. If that’s true, did our Panderer in Chief get the memo? I guess he could throw some of his socialist underlings under the bus for not bringing this “incident” to his attention while he was playing golf in Hawaii.
Remember that this is the President that not 2 months ago, was being talked about as being too visible. He loves to give interviews, unless you are with Fox News. He picks football and basketball games, loves to spread disinformation about his socialist policies, and forward his leftist agenda. However, when it comes to labeling terrorists or defending this Country, he is nowhere to be found. Don’t you feel safe with him and Napolitano watching out for the safety of your families?
This administration is quick to lash out at “right wing extremists” like Americans that believe in the 2nd Amendment and are anti-abortion, but when a Muslim extremist attacks this Country, we hear crickets. Has anyone heard an update on that piece of garbage that attacked Ft. Hood?
I was going to write about our 12 TRILLION in debt that is projected to be 21 TRILLION in 10 years, but that will have to wait for the next post. This socialist President is an embarrassment to the ideals and founding principals of this Country. I can’t wait for 2012.

It’s a great time of year. The Christmas season always is hectic, but it is very enjoyable. We will be heading to Disney for the week, but before we go, I wanted to wish each of you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and a Happy New Year.
I have a difficult time not ripping our socialist president even during Christmas, but since he doesn’t believe America is a Christian country anyway, I guess it really doesn’t matter. I still don’t understand how you sit in a church with Reverend Wright for 20 years and don’t believe anything, then again, maybe I do.
The President just got home from that debacle of a conference in Copenhagen. Luckily for us, Obama wasn’t able to convince the world that America was totally evil and we should foot the bill for this alleged “Global Warming Catastrophe.” It seems China doesn’t bow down to the rest of the world’s leaders like our apologist does, so no agreement could be made. Isn’t that pathetic? We have to root for the Chinese to muck up the waters in order for us not to be shackled by the rest of the world.
Back at home, the outgoing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has scheduled a vote to take over 1/6th of the American economy on Christmas Eve. Doesn’t anybody in D.C. believe holidays should be spent at home with your family?
After the holidays, it will be time to work on removing this rubber stamp congress from power. South Florida Conservatives will be hosting gubernatorial candidate Speaker Marco Rubio and Congressional candidate Lt. Col. Allen West at a forum on January 23. I urge everyone to view the You Tube video with LTC West. He is a strong conservative voice. Contact me for information.

See you next year!

I was thinking that it doesn’t pay to be a member of Congress that follows the party line, whichever party you belong to. It is far more valuable to be someone that is always undecided. If the party can always count on your vote because you vote to the extreme left or right, there is not a lot of reason to pay you for your vote.
The current healthcare reform vote is an excellent example of this. The Democrats are so desperate for votes, they have made millions of dollars worth of concessions to those representatives that were “concerned” or “undecided.” Those words are code for “you have to pay for my vote,” or “what are you going to give me to help you rape the American people?”
Do you really believe that there are Senators and Representatives that are uncertain of their position on healthcare reform? It’s as if they have never considered the question and they want us to believe that they are still developing an opinion on this issue. That is ridiculous. I feel the same way when a Supreme Court nominee says they don’t have an opinion on abortion. Are we really supposed to believe they have never pondered this before?
Why do we put up with this form of horse trading to run a Country? Our tax money, taken from us under threat of criminal prosecution, is given out by elected officials to other elected officials to secure votes to take more tax money from us that will be used to buy more votes, etc. etc.
We have to end this cycle of violence against the American people. There are very good reasons to have an efficient and productive government. I believe that the government has gotten too vast for our own good. Government, particularly the Federal government, needs to be placed on a diet. This continued grab for areas of the economy to be socialized has been shown through history to be a failed model. I’m sure our socialist president loves this expansion, but this is not sustainable. When more people find out they can vote themselves more benefits to the detriment of the Country’s health, we will collapse under our own debt.
I saw a great bumper sticker this week. It read: Socialism is a great idea until you run out of other people’s money. We are fast approaching that barrier with Obama driving this socialist bus. I can’t wait till 2012!

November 10, 2009

It has been a couple of crazy weeks around the house, so I have not been able to write. There has been much going on in our almost socialist Country since President Obama got his fake Nobel, so let’s spend a few minutes catching up…
A tragedy that is both devastating and infuriating is the attack of unarmed American soldiers at Fort Hood. My heart, prayers, and sympathies go out to the families of the patriots killed and wounded in the attack. May God grant you the comfort that only He can. In hard times like these, lean on the Lord and He will provide comfort to the inconsolable.
Now to the issues that really make me mad about the information released on the incident. Shortly after the first reports of the attack, we heard that the FBI stated this is not a terrorist event. Why in the world would they say that? There is NO WAY they could possibly know that so soon after the attack. Now it turns out that the shooter was under investigation for 6 months and tried to contact Al Qaeda. My local fish-wrapper, The Miami Herald, posted a poll today asking readers if the government should investigate if the attack was a terrorist incident. Can you believe that? What an insane question. I guess we should just wonder if there is a coordinated plot to kill Americans. Thankfully, brave police officers responded and shot this low life. I’m sure he will be hanged as a traitor soon. Military justice moves much more quickly than civilian courts.
Secondly, the elections in New Jersey and Virginia were ignored or dismissed by several members of the head socialist’s administration. I guess a Republican Governor in New Jersey is no big deal. I’m sure I saw Obama campaign for Corzine, but just like the begging for the Olympics, Obama could not bring home the prize. The good people of Virginia also gave us some hope for a massacre of the liberals in November 2010 by sweeping the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General offices for the Republicans. We have to keep the pressure up and continue this momentum into the election.
Lastly, the ultra-liberal House of Representatives led by the extremist from San Francisco passed a socialized medicine bill over the weekend continuing our march to being good little communists. The vote was very close, but I’m sure the results were negotiated to protect Democrats in conservative states. Check your Representative to see if he/she voted for this debacle. Remember that in November. Now the Senate takes up the question. Let your Senators know your feelings. I believe the Senate will not pass a bill as radical as the House’s, but we need to make our feelings known.
Rally to stop socialized medicine! Stop giving away freedoms. The Federal government already owns car manufacturers, banks, investment firms, insurance companies, and mortgage lenders. Don’t give them 1/6th of the U.S economy.

When people ask me about the academic prowess of my son, which is prolific, I often say that I would not be surprised to see him win a Nobel Prize in Physics or Chemistry one day. With our socialist President Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize after only 11 days in office, I guess the bar for special recognition has been significantly lowered to the point where I should start saying that I hope my son can read dramatically from a teleprompter. It is so sad that this is our new standard of excellence.
Do you remember the first 11 days of our socialist’s Presidency? I don’t really remember any earth-shattering events. I remember seeing many speeches that offered “hope and change” to the downtrodden. I remember Obama pushing a Stimulus bill that he said had to be passed immediately or unemployment might reach 8.5%. Here we are pushing 10%, I wonder why his words didn’t stop the economic collapse. His vague words of “hope and change“ were enough for those panderers in Stockholm to give an award for what he said he may do.
When preparing to write this Blog entry, I was encouraged to look at the only other sitting President of the United States to receive the award, President Woodrow Wilson. After 7 years in office, leading the Country through World War I, creating the League of Nations, and crafting the Treaty of Versailles, President Wilson was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. His accomplishments seem pale in comparison to Obama’s 11 day reign over the Country, his eloquent speeches, and the thoughts of what he may be able to accomplish with just the wave of his hand.
I guess you probably get the feeling from my writing that I do not believe that President Obama deserves any prize. That is true, but giving our top socialist a prize is the result of far more nefarious motivations and social attitudes that seek to further destroy the fabric of this Country. Firstly, I’m sure Obama and his merry band of leftists truly believe that he is absolutely deserving of special recognition for his 11 days in office. As far as they are concerned, he is entitled to this simply because he has said he will deliver “hope and change,” even if he really hasn’t and he may never do anything. This insipid entitlement philosophy permeates the entire leftist movement, and is ripping the drive for excellence out of the very soul of the Country.
Secondly, by giving the savior his award, I believe the “Stockholmians” are attempting to affect the foreign policy of America. How can a Nobel Peace Prize winner order 60,000 more troops into Afghanistan to perform missions that may not always be peaceful? How can we protect liberty around the world as a Country with a leader that is a beacon of peace by sending troops carrying guns that are definitely not peaceful. This thinly veiled attempt to tie our hands will probably work in our current socialist administration.
What is truly sad is that I’m sure Obama said to himself “It’s about time, I’ve deserved this award for a long time.” He and his leftist administration delude themselves that they have actually had some affect on the world. His 2009 apology tour, as I described in my entry entitled “Panderer in Chief” must have really worked in Europe. Luckily, I, and many other Americans see through this fraud of a president and can’t wait for 2012. This awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama has shown this award is a joke.
