Greetings,
My name is Steven Rasmussen. I retired from the Miami-Dade Police Department after almost 28 years (that’s where the captain comes from). During my career, I was assigned to many varied areas of policing including uniform patrol, investigations, administration, and tactical operations.
My most enjoyable experiences came when assigned to the Training Bureau, where I worked for more than eight years in four different ranks. I was a State of Florida Certified Instructor in General Subjects, Firearms, and Driving. I have taught thousands of students in the areas of leadership, goal setting, professional advancement, organizational structure and communication, and high liability areas.
